# Browser and hardware requirements — NFSU2 Browser

Check WebGPU, memory and storage support.

## Desktop browsers
Begin with an updated desktop Chrome or Edge browser with hardware acceleration enabled. Other browsers require their own gameplay verification. Loading the landing page alone is not a compatibility test.

## Graphics and shared memory
The game requires WebGPU, WebAssembly shared memory, Atomics.waitAsync and secure cross-origin isolation. The initial shared memory is 1 GiB, in addition to graphics and other browser allocations.

## Storage
Browser file storage holds cached game blocks and profiles. Private browsing or a full disk may prevent access. Allow persistent storage when your browser asks.

## Phones and tablets
Mobile and Safari gameplay have not been verified for this site. Use a desktop for the first test.
